I don't and more and more experts don't put much thought into calories any more. I'd like to see Carbohydrates on the y-axis.

True that calories definitely don't show the full picture but I do think they illustrate the concept of efficiency well in this case. Carbs on the y-axis is an excellent follow up chart and included in my course.!
