Why I created We Ate Well
for foodies trying to eat right
As a lifelong vegetarian, I tell you that it can be challenging to eat healthy. There is a constant sensory overload of white carbs everywhere you look. The best bagel in NYC. How to make the fluffiest focaccia or that perfect pile of al dante noodles. Garlic naan.
When I decided to ditch the empty carbs and embrace whole foods on a low carb diet, the reverse was true. Uninspiring combinations of quinoa, greens and avocado for every meal. I craved variety. I wanted to have fun. I wanted to be wooed into cooking and eating food that was also good for me.
