I grew up in Bangalore, India in a family of foodies where everyone still passionately debates their next meal. My parents fondly recall me demanding to know what was in my lunchbox the night before I went to school.
Always an avid home cook (my school friends might remember a bechamel sauce pasta❤️), and an obsessive experimenter - I would bake cakes in a pressure cooker filled with sand because our oven wouldn't get hot enough for a cake (oh yeah, it works!!). I once made a lasagna from scratch for Mother’s Day when I was in high school, yes including rolling out those pasta sheets!
My culinary journey continued as I grew up but this is really the first time I've shared it beyond my immediate family circle and it's been so rewarding! Nothing better than hearing from you guys that you've made and loved a recipe, or even just seeing people's eyes light up (figuratively) when they see a new drool-worthy idea.
